M for Montreal is an “export & network” platform that was founded in 2006 as a fun project for the creative
director of the event, Sébastien Nasra (Avalanche Productions, an established Montreal management and
music publishing firm), and the legendary British festival programmer Martin Elbourne (Glastonbury Festival,
The Great Escape and co-founder with Peter Gabriel of the WOMAD Festival).

M for Montreal presents another diverse and powerful showcase during the prestigious South By Southwest
festival (www.sxsw.com) in Austin, Texas on Thursday, March 13th and Friday, March 14th, 2008.
